SA203 is a low-alloyed Ni steel. Ni is added to this type of steel, giving it excellent low-temperature toughness and corrosion resistance. Its high Charpy V-notch impact values at low temperature(-71℃～-101℃)are combined with good tensile properties and mainly with an ultra low Nil-ductility temperature(Drop Weight Tests).The crack propagation resistance of the material is therefore excellent. The type of steel is used in Compressors housings Nuclear waste containers and Liquid gas storage tankers.
